Hard Water Softener Chemical

 

  • Known as chelating and sequestering agent, reduces hardness of water by chelating calcium and magnesium hardness.
  • Reduces pH of hard water from alkaline pH to neutral.
  • Used in dyeing to prevent saponification of dyes thus prevent shade variation.
  • Also prevent saponification of chemical auxiliaries which are prone to hard water. This results in low consumption of auxiliaries and better quality of final dyed fabric.
  • It does not loose its activity in condition of high temperature and alkalinity common in dyeing process.
  • It is used in any industrial water conditioning application where hardness of water is undesirable. Best part is, unlike Reverse Osmosis, there is no loss of water in purification.

Soft Treat 500EX

Description         :      Transparent syrupy liquid.

Solid                     :      60% approx.

pH of chemical     :     1.0, Acidic

pH of 0.1% solution:  5.0

Specific gravity   :      1.4

Chelation value  :      500  for calcium and magnesium hardness.

Dosing                 :      Generally 0.5%owg. As a thumb rule, 1kg of SOFT TREAT  500EX will reduce Calcium and Magnesium  hardness of 1000kg hard water by 500ppm. This means if we add 1kg of SOFT TREAT 500EX in 1000lts of hard water of hardness 500ppm, the hardness will reduce to zero.

Price                     :     Rs.140/- per kg. Other charges include: GST 18% extra, Freight on TO PAY basis.

Packing                :     45kg and 65kg carboy.
