Alkaline RO membrane cleaner

  • RO ALKOLIN  is  caustic soda free, phosphate free alkaline membrane cleaner for removal of oily mud & biofouling on membrane.
  • It also facilitates cleaning of silica and light scale deposits on membrane.
  • In case of high scale deposition and choked membrane, treatment with RO Descalant namely, RO CLEARFLO is required after alkaline cleaning.

RO ALKOLIN

Description         :     Clear  Liquid

pH   0.1% solution        :   9.0    (i.e. 1gm in 1 litre water)

pH  0.2% solution          :   10.0    i.e. (2gm in 1 litre water)

Specific gravity   :      1.2 approx

Dosing                 :     Amount of RO ALKOLIN  depend on condition of fouling in equipment. Typically dosing is 1.0 to 2.0%  weight of water in the system and may go up to 4.0% for badly fouled membranes or two CIP cycles at  2.0% dosing.

Application     :    Water containing RO ALKOLIN in prescribed dosing need to be circulate in the membrane system for 4 HOURS including membrane soak cycle at 15 – 30 minutes intervals.

Operating temperature:       Preferred 40°C but also at room temperature.

Solubility :                  Soluble in all proportions
